Deliverable: new logo identity

Moving the Needles is a global platform and community changing and healing the world through words. Since its founding in March, 2020, the organization has been using a temporary, place-holder logo. After its first five months, Moving the Needles now has an active roster of participants for its events, contributors for its publication, and a newly launched podcast - that is, the perfect time to invest in a logo re-design that reflects who they are.

The Original Design

The original design featured a bold-lettered N with an animated thread as if through the hole of a needle, or as in this case, a cut at the foot of the letter. I’ve kept most of this joyful color palette in the new design.
